Traditionally to change a vehicle’s colour, it would have needed to have been spray painted.
These days there is a much simpler alternative to change your vehicle’s colour - to have your vehicle vinyl wrapped!
Vinyl wrapping not only makes your vehicle stand out from the rest, but the vinyl wrapping process also serves as protection from the elements and every day common road damage (such as stone chipping and minor nicks) ensuring that your factory paint is preserved. A correctly installed wrap will have a life of between approximately 3 to 5 years, after which time it is recommended the wrap is removed.
Colours and finishes are only limited by your imagination - gloss, matt, metallic, textured, carbon fibre, and even camouflage vinyls are now available. If you’re after something a little bit more exciting, our graphic design service can design something uniquely for you.
At Spectrum Signs we treat your vehicle like it’s our own. For your vehicle’s preparation we carry out a few initial steps to ensure the highest quality finish. This includes the removal of door handles and mirrors followed by a full body wash then, if it is required, a light clay barring to remove any industrial fall out – this leaves your cars paint silky smooth. Then finally we use Avery surface preparation. Then your vehicle is ready to be wrapped!
